2009 Lincoln MKS, oversold ?
Since its official debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, November 2007, the US dealers are still waiting for the arrival of the new Lincoln MKS because 8,600 potential customers are already in line to buy the sedan and roughly two-thirds of them going for the Ultimate MKS.
Reason for these early huge orders is that Lincoln used a new marketing method this time revealing the options and pricing just after the official debut. Pie-Wen Hsu, the marketing manager of Lincoln MSK said “Many lease customers would like to compare monthly installments before they decide to purchase a new vehicle, this is why we provided them with complete pricing and incentives with the intention that they could take an informed decision prior to the arrival of the vehicle in the hand of dealers this summer”.
Michael Sprague, the marketing manager of Lincoln Mercury group said “The MKS is a latest vehicle for the brand of Lincoln, and it’s a match changer for us”.
An elite 3.7 liter V6 engine that produces 275hm is empowering the Lincoln MKS. Features include SYNC, effective Fuel Filler System, premium THX qualified audio system, Next-Generation SecuriCode Keypad, heated rear seats, 20-inch wheels and voice-enabled navigation system including SIRIUS Travel Link.
